Watershed Tour 4 - Natural Stream, Warhill Tract, Centerville Road

Natural streams are often the first collection point for stormwater as it moves across the land, so stream health is an excellent indicator of watershed conditions. Healthy natural streams have an abundance of plant and animal life that work together to protect larger waterways. The James and York Rivers flow directly into the Chesapeake Bay so protecting our streams and rivers from pollutants is the best way to protect the Bay. (RETURN TO TOUR MAP)
